What We Do

Hillingdon Grange School is a specialist school for children and young people aged 3-14 years, who have been diagnosed with Autistic Spectrum Conditions (ASC).

Hillingdon Grange School registered in 2025 as an independent Primary school, separate from Hillingdon Manor Secondary to provide a tailored Primary learning environment for Autistic children.

Located over four sites from early years through to the end of Key Stage 2 the school offers a unique mix of education and life skills support to pupils with a wide spectrum of needs and abilities. Personalised teaching and learning in an autism-specific environment allows pupils’ individual needs to be addressed completely and their capabilities fully realised.

We aim to:

  • Create a sense of community by encouraging all pupils to become active participants in the school and local colleges of further education, close partnership with parents and members of the local community.
  • Develop social understanding by carefully designed programmes fully informed by the in-house clinical team. We also recognise we have a duty to promote awareness and understanding of autism in the community.
  • Improve well-being by supporting our pupils to understand their own feelings and emotions and provide them with a range of strategies to cope with daily activities.
  • Enhance academic achievement by delivering a broad curriculum which is meaningful and fun with academic and vocational pathways.
  • Develop independence by promoting choice in everything that we do in preparing our young people to contribute to their community.

Our Sites

Hillingdon Grange School is located across four sites to provide specialist education for children with autism from the age of three up to the age of 14.

The school is proud to offer an environment which inspires learning and where students can flourish, whilst personalised targets ensure every young person can make progress appropriate to their specific needs.
