Hillingdon Grange School is a specialist school for children and young people aged 4-14 years, who have been diagnosed with Autistic Spectrum Conditions (ASC).
Hillingdon Grange School registered in 2025 as an independent primary school to provide a tailored learning environment for Autistic children.
Located over three sites from early years through to the end of Key Stage 2 the school offers a unique mix of education and life skills support to pupils with a wide spectrum of needs and abilities. Personalised teaching and learning in an autism-specific environment allows pupils’ individual needs to be addressed completely and their capabilities fully realised.
We aim to:
- Improve well-being by supporting our pupils to understand their own feelings and emotions and provide them with a range of strategies to cope with daily activities.
- Develop social understanding by carefully designed programmes fully informed and supported by our in-house clinical team. We also recognise we have a duty to promote awareness and understanding of autism in the community.
- Enhance academic achievement by delivering a broad curriculum which is meaningful and fun.
- Develop independence by promoting choice in everything that we do in preparing our young people to contribute to their community.
- Create a sense of community by encouraging all pupils to become active participants in the school and local area, through close partnership with parents and members of the local community.
